For those of you who do not know, BSA has come out with a new my.scouting.org website.  The purpose of the new versions is to provide tools based on your current registration, making being a volunteer leader easier!

For the average unit level volunteer, my.scouting.org is useful because you can update your contact information, and just like the legacy myscouting.org you can view your training record!

It has been a common problem that Nationals Training record does not mirror your actual training record! BUT WE NOW HAVE A FIX, check out:
scoutertraining.org/update/

Once you fill out the form, a district level volunteer will be able to update Nationals record for you.  Please share this website with all of your fellow volunteers as we hope to have everyone’s training record up to date by the end of this scouting season!

Effective Oct. 1, 2013, the official stance on the Boy Scouts of America’s uniform policy is that shirts are to be worn tucked in, regardless of whether the wearer is a Cub Scout, Boy Scout, Varsity Scout, Venturer or adult Scouter. All Sea Scout uniforms are designed to be tucked in except youth dress whites and youth dress blues.

In the past, guidelines have simply stated the uniform wearer should be neat in appearance. Neatness includes tucking in the shirt. This update will appear in related resources, such as the uniform inspection sheets, as they are revised and printed.
